How to add your startup to VentureRadar

TL;DR

VentureRadar is a London-based database that ranks startups and other companies for corporates, investors and partners looking for new technology. Submitting and claiming a profile is free; new submissions are reviewed within 21 days. A Premium Profile ($150 a year list price, $75 when bought during submission) gives instant approval and featured placement. It suits B2B and deep-tech startups that want to be found by corporate scouts.

What is VentureRadar?

VentureRadar finds companies through web crawling, AI and human analysts, then ranks them by keyword so a corporate scouting team can search "battery recycling" or "insurtech" and get a list of companies. It runs the VentureRadar Database and custom scouting services for large corporations.

Its brochure for companies reports 140,000+ registered users and 150,000+ active users a month. Many companies already have a profile created by the crawler; claiming it lets you control what scouts read.

Who should submit to VentureRadar?

Good fit:

  • B2B, deep-tech, climate, health and industrial startups that sell to or partner with large companies.
  • Founders raising from seed onwards who want investors to find an accurate profile.
  • Startups already listed with an outdated description.

Skip it:

  • Consumer apps and DTC brands. The audience is corporates and investors, so shoppers will not see you.
  • Founders looking for launch-day traffic or a backlink. Backlinks are a Premium feature.

How much does VentureRadar cost?

For your company profile:

  • Submit Profile: free. A profile with your description, location, website and up to 6 keywords.
  • Claim Profile: free. Adds a direct contact email and lets you edit the profile at any time.
  • Premium Profile: $150 a year (€136 or £116). The submission form shows a fast-track price of $75 (50% lifetime discount) with immediate approval. Premium adds targeted placement on "Top Companies" pages and user homepages, a guaranteed minimum of 100 impressions a week, a contact form, product pages, backlinks for SEO, and an embedded video and pitch deck.

Searching the database is a separate product: a free account allows 5 searches and 15 profile views a day, the Business plan costs $99 a month or $60 a month billed yearly, and a 5-week On Demand pass costs $150.

How do you share your startup on VentureRadar?

  1. Search VentureRadar for your company name. If a profile exists, log in and claim it from the profile page.
  2. If not, create a free VentureRadar account, then open Submit a Company.
  3. Enter the company name, website and LinkedIn page, then company type, founding year and headquarters country.
  4. Describe what the company does (an AI assistant drafts text if you paste notes), add a short descriptor under 250 characters and up to 6 keywords of 30 characters each.
  5. Choose Normal (free, reviewed within 21 days) or Fast Track (Premium). You get an email when the profile is live, and you can then claim it.

Tips to get more out of VentureRadar

  • Choose keywords that scouts type, such as "solid-state battery" or "AI claims processing", since VentureRadar ranks companies by keyword.
  • Write the descriptor for a corporate buyer: the problem, the technology and who already uses it.
  • Claim your profile even if VentureRadar created it, so the contact email reaches you.
  • Buy Premium only when you are fundraising or selling to corporates, because its value is targeted visibility to that audience.

Our verdict

VentureRadar is a free, low-effort profile that puts a B2B startup in front of corporate scouts and investors. Claim or submit it, keep the keywords sharp, and pay for Premium only during a funding round or an enterprise sales push.
