How to list your startup on MAGNiTT
TL;DR
MAGNiTT is a Dubai-based data platform that tracks startups, investors and funding rounds in emerging venture markets: the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Africa, Pakistan and Turkey. Creating or claiming a startup profile is free with a free account. It suits founders in those regions who want investors, corporates and journalists to find accurate data on their company.
What is MAGNiTT?
MAGNiTT, founded in 2015 by Philip Bahoshy, runs a startup and investor directory plus a research arm whose quarterly reports track regional venture funding. Its Q3 2026 MENA VC update and H1 2026 reviews on Saudi Arabia, AI and fintech are quoted by Arab News, Zawya and other regional media.
Its FAQ says the directory covers more than 15,000 MENA startups, with funding history, description, sector and location. Startups and investors add their own funding data, and MAGNiTT validates it before it counts in reports. MAGNiTT is a data provider and does not raise money for startups itself.
Who should submit to MAGNiTT?
Good fit:
- Startups headquartered or operating in MENA, Pakistan, Turkey or Africa, at any stage.
- Founders preparing a raise: investors use MAGNiTT to screen companies and check past rounds.
- Startups that closed a round and want it counted in MAGNiTT's quarterly reports.
Skip it:
- Startups with no link to these regions. Regional investors are the audience.
- Founders looking for customers or app downloads. The audience is investors, corporates and ecosystem builders.
How much does MAGNiTT cost?
A startup profile is free. A free account gives you your profile, MAGNiTT's free reports, news and articles, and limited access to the startup and investor directories.
Paid Enterprise subscriptions are for investors and corporates: they add contact details of startups, investors and service providers, plus CSV data exports. Founders do not need one to be listed.
How do you share your startup on MAGNiTT?
- Register on MAGNiTT with your contact details and verify your email. Check your spam folder: you need the verified email to access your profile.
- Search your company name in the top search bar. If MAGNiTT already lists you, press Claim Startup to take full ownership of the profile. If a colleague already claimed it, ask them to add you as a team member.
- If you are not listed, open the profile icon, go to My Companies, choose Create Company Profile and select the company type.
- Fill in each step of the profile, ending with the social and contact section. Press "Save Changes" on that last step, or nothing is stored.
Tips to get more out of MAGNiTT
- Add every funding round with date, amount and investors. MAGNiTT's reports and investor searches draw on this data.
- Log new rounds right after you announce them, so the next quarterly update can count them.
- Write the description for an investor: market, traction and what makes the model work in your country.
- Add your team members so the profile stays current when one founder is busy.
Our verdict
For a startup in MENA, Pakistan, Turkey or Africa, a MAGNiTT profile is free and worth the 30 minutes: it is where regional investors and reporters check your funding history. Founders outside these markets gain nothing from it.
