How to list your startup on TrustLink
TL;DR
TrustLink is a US consumer review site for home, personal and professional services. Registering a business and its storefront is free, a Preferred Membership with promotional tools has no published price, and website links are nofollow. Its recent reviews include obvious spam, so treat it as a minor citation for US local businesses and nothing more.
What is TrustLink?
TrustLink.org describes itself as "Trusted Reviews for Home, Personal and Professional Services". Its categories cover automotive, legal, financial, moving and storage, health, home improvement and real estate. Every business gets a "storefront" page with contact details, photos, hours and reviews, plus a private portal to answer reviewers. The FAQ says reviews are monitored for authenticity and that a "TrustLink Verified Review" label appears only when TrustLink can confirm a real transaction.
Here is what we found on 30 October 2026. The "Recent Reviews" on the homepage included a casino storefront whose single review, posted on 23 October 2026, links to another casino website. Next to it sat a cluster of dental storefronts in New York, each with one review posted on 29 October 2026 by an account created the same day, written as generic SEO copy instead of a patient's experience. The moderation promised in the FAQ is not catching the obvious cases.
Who should submit to TrustLink?
- US local service businesses (contractors, dentists, lawyers, movers, auto shops) that want one more citation with their name, address and phone.
- Skip it if you are outside the United States: the form only accepts US states and Washington, D.C.
- SaaS and app startups with no local service have no fitting category. The site is built for local trades.
- Founders after a backlink or real customer traffic should pass too: the website link carries rel="nofollow" and two new storefronts we opened showed fewer than 30 visitors each.
How much does TrustLink cost?
A business profile is free: "Sign up with TrustLink for FREE today" is the site's own wording. The paid Preferred Membership adds a featured review, an advertising section, a Preferred Member seal, a place in the Preferred Members directory, a priority email line and a custom content tab for video or HTML. TrustLink publishes no price for it.
How do you share your startup on TrustLink?
- Search TrustLink for your business name and city first, in case a storefront exists.
- If not, open the Register a New Business form and fill in business name, products or services, city, state and category, plus your address and website.
- Create a free general TrustLink account.
- Open the Business Account Request page, sign in, enter your contact details and pass the CAPTCHA to link the storefront to your account.
- When "Linked Companies" appears on your profile, click Edit to add photos, a description and opening hours.
Tips to get more out of TrustLink
- Match the name, address and phone on your Google Business Profile exactly.
- Write a plain two-sentence description of what you do and where. Keyword-stuffed descriptions are what the spam storefronts use.
- Check your storefront once a quarter for fake reviews and report them through the site.
- Do not pay for Preferred Membership without a written price and a reason beyond the badge.
Our verdict
TrustLink still works and costs nothing, so a US local business can add a storefront in fifteen minutes for one more citation. The casino and SEO-copy reviews make it a weak trust signal, the link is nofollow and startups outside the US have no place there. Most founders can skip it.
