How to list your startup on Fyple
TL;DR
Fyple is a free local business directory with separate sites for the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and South Africa. The six non-US sites accept only businesses based in that country and check your location, while the US registration page has shown a maintenance notice since at least June 2025. It suits local businesses outside the USA that want one more citation, and links to your website are nofollow.
What is Fyple?
Fyple is a directory of local companies, organised by region, city and category, with customer reviews on each company page. Each country runs on its own domain: fyple.com (USA), fyple.ca (Canada), fyple.co.uk (UK), fyple.biz (Australia), fyple.net (Ireland), fyple.co.nz (New Zealand) and fyple.co.za (South Africa). The UK site lists 806,393 businesses in England alone, and the US site counts 204,099 in California.
The sites are alive in October 2026, though unevenly. The Australian homepage showed reviews dated 30 October 2026 and the UK site showed reviews from 13 October 2026, while the newest reviews on the US homepage date from April 2024. The newest US companies include keyword entries such as "cost-effective budget templates" at a P.O. box, with a "castle clash hack" listed nearby. Moderation is thin.
Who should submit to Fyple?
- Local businesses based in Canada, the UK, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand or South Africa that are building citations.
- Startups with a real street address and phone number: pages are organised by city and shown on a map.
- Skip it if you are in the USA. The US registration page has said "We'll be back soon" for more than a year, and adding a company requires an account.
- Skip it if you want backlinks: company website links carry rel="nofollow".
How much does Fyple cost?
Fyple is free. Every page shows an "Add your business for free" button, and we found no paid plans or prices on the US or UK sites.
How do you share your startup on Fyple?
- Open the Fyple site for your country through the "Fyple worldwide" links at the bottom of fyple.com.
- Search for your business name first. If a page already exists, use "Report a problem" on that page or the contact form to correct it.
- Click Register and create an account with your name, email and password. Fyple checks your location: signing up from outside the site's country shows a "You are not based in" message.
- Log in and click Add company. Fill in your name, address, phone, email, website, categories and a description.
- Ask happy customers to leave a review on your page. Any visitor can write one.
Tips to get more out of Fyple
- Register from inside your country and without a VPN, or the site refuses the sign-up.
- Match your name, address and phone number to your Google Business Profile exactly.
- Pick the categories closest to what customers search for. Fyple prints the category path, such as Business Services and Business to Business, on your page.
- Write a plain description of two or three sentences with your city and main service. Keyword-stuffed names look like the spam entries around you.
Our verdict
Fyple is a free, quick citation for local businesses in six of its seven countries, and that is all it is: links are nofollow and the US site has not taken new accounts since mid-2025. Add it if you are in Canada, the UK, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand or South Africa. US founders should spend the time on Google Business Profile and Yelp instead.
