How to launch your startup on Peerlist Launchpad
TL;DR
Peerlist is a professional network for developers, designers and founders, and its Launchpad is a free weekly launch board that opens every Monday. Launching costs nothing if you have a verified personal profile, and paid visibility starts at $29 for a Featured Launch day. It suits founders of developer tools, SaaS, design tools and AI products who want early users and feedback from technical people.
What is Peerlist?
Peerlist (peerlist.io) is a profile and social network for people who build software. Members show their work and projects on one profile, post on a feed called Scroll and browse startup jobs. Peerlist's advertising page counts 52,000+ monthly active users: 58% software engineers, 22% founders and CTOs, 12% product and design.
Peerlist Launchpad is the product launch section. Each week runs as its own board: you launch on Monday and the community upvotes and comments until the week closes. The archive starts in week 14 of 2024, and on 30 October 2026 (week 44) MotionVideo led with 106 upvotes, ahead of shepetal and Private.Ki.
The domain authority of 32 belongs to peerlist.io. The Launchpad FAQ says only the top 5 projects of the week get a backlink, so treat a launch as a source of users and feedback first.
Who should launch on Peerlist?
- Founders of developer tools, APIs, SaaS products and design tools: the audience is mostly engineers and designers.
- Solo makers and AI builders with a demo people can try in a minute.
- Skip it if you sell to consumers with no technical angle: the crowd here builds software.
- Skip it if you want to launch from a company page: only individual profiles with a real name and photo may launch.
How much does Peerlist cost?
A Launchpad launch is free. You need a verified profile: Peerlist offers identity verification through Stripe Identity for a nominal one-time fee (the help centre does not state the amount) and free workplace verification for your current employer.
Paid options on the Peerlist ads page, October 2026:
- Featured Launch from $29 per day: top of the Scroll feed for one day, plus a week on the Home and Launchpad feeds.
- Launchpad Feed banner: $129 per week (about 80,000 impressions). Other banners cost $99 to $199 per week.
How do you share your startup on Peerlist?
- Create a profile on peerlist.io with your real name and photo, then verify it in your verification settings.
- Open the Work tab, click New project and fill in every required field: name, tagline, cover image and demo link. Only projects at 100% completion can launch.
- On a Monday, go to Peerlist Launchpad, click Launch, pick your project and confirm. The window runs from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm UTC on Monday. If you miss Monday, click Launch on the project and schedule it for a later week.
- Stay active all week. Ranking uses upvotes, comments, views and link visits, and projects appear in random order on Monday and Tuesday.
- Follow the rules: asking for upvotes is banned, and so are DMs with your launch link to strangers and repeat posts of it on Scroll. SEO agencies may not launch for clients.
Tips to get more out of Peerlist
- Finish the project page a week early: an incomplete project makes the launch fail.
- Ask for feedback in the comments: only qualitative comments count, and votes from verified profiles weigh more.
- Write the tagline as the result a builder gets, e.g. "Turn Figma frames into React components".
- Aim for the top 3: winners get a badge, a spot in Peerlist's newsletter and social posts.
Our verdict
Peerlist Launchpad gives you an active, technical audience every week and charges no launch fee. It rewards founders who answer commenters all week. Consumer apps belong on a different launch site.
