How to list your startup on AddYP
TL;DR
AddYP (addyp.com) is a global business directory where a listing is free and goes live within about an hour. The catch: visitors see your phone and email blurred unless you buy lead credits at $0.33 per lead. It suits local service firms that want one more citation; a tech startup gets little from it.
What is AddYP?
AddYP is a worldwide directory of businesses, services, products, jobs, events and coupons. It says it has connected businesses since 2007 and that 359,802+ business owners use it, with 2M+ listings in 100+ countries, mostly in the USA and India. The company behind it is AddYP Innovations LLP (2024), and its about page traces it back to Indian web agencies Comsys Advertising (2008), Axtec IT Solutions (2013) and TopAlign IT Solutions (2016).
On top of listings, AddYP runs free tools: a website SEO audit, a site comparison, a lead conversion audit and a booking tool. It also sells guest posts on its own blogs, covered below.
Who should submit to AddYP?
Good fit:
- Local service businesses (agencies, clinics, trades, shops) in the USA, India, the UK or the UAE that collect citations with the same name, address and phone everywhere.
- Founders who sell to Indian buyers, since much of the directory and its WhatsApp support are India based.
Skip it:
- SaaS, app and AI startups looking for users or investors. Nobody browses AddYP to find a new product.
- Founders who expect real enquiries for free. Free listings hide part of your contact details behind a "Show Contacts" button that only works once you pay.
- Anyone careful about link neighbourhoods. AddYP sells guest posts on its blogs, including casino, gambling and CBD topics.
How much does AddYP cost?
- Listing: free. No credit card is needed to sign up.
- Lead credits: $0.33 per lead. One credit covers one unique visitor who calls, clicks WhatsApp, visits your website or sends a quote request. While your balance stays above zero, your full contact details show. Unused credits never expire.
- Guest posts and link insertions: from $19 on blog.addyp.com, blog.bharathlisting.com and blog.wehelp.in, with up to 5 dofollow links. "High-risk" niches start at $60, and an unlimited plan costs $250 per website per year.
- Affiliate programme: 40% commission for resellers and agencies.
How do you share your startup on AddYP?
- Open the AddYP registration page and sign up with email, Google, Facebook or WhatsApp (no password needed for WhatsApp).
- Click Add Your Business and fill in the name, category, address, phone, website, hours and a description. AddYP promises approval within about 1 hour.
- Add services, products, offers or job posts from your dashboard if you want more pages under your name.
- Decide on lead credits. Without them, visitors see a masked phone number and email.
On the listing we checked on 30 October 2026, the website button carried no nofollow attribute.
Tips to get more out of AddYP
- Copy your Google Business Profile details exactly, so the citation matches your other listings.
- Write a plain, specific description: what you sell, where, and for whom. Listings stuffed with keywords look like the spam around them.
- Use the free website audit once, then ignore the upsell emails.
- Skip the guest post network. Links bought next to casino posts carry more risk than benefit for a young domain.
Our verdict
AddYP is a live, busy directory with a paywalled contact model and a side business in paid links. List a local business there for the free citation, then move on. Startups selling software should spend the time elsewhere.
